Due to popular demand, Barcelona’s women’s sports club Velocissima is organising yet another great cycling event. Just like previous rides, participants can expect extraordinary routes and exceptional company. On October 3rd 2021, the 2nd edition of Velocissima’s ride through the vineyards will take place.
Women Cycling in the Penedès
With Vilanova i la Geltrú as our start and end point, we will complete a spectacular ride through the most famous wine region of Catalunya, el Penedès.
There will be an assistance vehicle, refreshment points en route as well as snacks and soft drinks available upon completion of the event. So all you need to do is relax and enjoy the ride!

- Long Ride, 100Kms and 1300m+ elevation.
- Medium Ride, 75 Kms and 700m+ elevation. (Same as the long ride but without the climb)
- Short Ride, 60 Kms and 600+ elevation.
